• The KST-308 is a lime-titania coated covered-arc electrode (stick welding) designed for welding austenitic stainless steels, specifically in the 18 % Cr / 8 % Ni class (for example AISI 304/308 types). Always with you KISWEL+1

• Typical chemical composition of the deposited (all-weld-metal) weld from KST-308:

  • C: ~0.05 %

  • Si: ~0.78 %

  • Mn: ~1.22 %

  • Cr: ~19.3 %

• Typical mechanical properties:

  • Yield Strength ~470 MPa

  • Tensile Strength ~620 MPa

  • Elongation ~45 % Cimco Metal Centre+1

• Available diameter sizes: 2.0 mm, 2.6 mm, 3.2 mm, 4.0 mm, 5.0 mm. Always with you KISWEL+1

  • For 3.2 mm the recommended welding current (flat & horizontal) is ~80-110 A and for overhead/vertical ~70-100 A. Always with you KISWEL
